I named this “Transformation” because once I got a dog, Ollie, my life changed. This is an important piece in my portfolio because the experience of getting a dog was so meaningful to me. The assignment was to write a personal narrative. This was hard to write, even though I knew so much about Ollie because I had to remember two years before. It was difficult to imagine my home without our dog because he is so much in my family’s life now. The fun part of the assignment was to remember all of the great moments with Ollie.
